Fenlands - R3 - British Championships

Team Radley came home in first place at the Norman Southgate Memorial meeting, and now go into the British Championships in joint first place with Scott Dunn, with Wayne Read sitting just a single point behind them in 3rd.

Some of the closest racing of the season thus far developed as the heats went by, between all of the sidecar outfits but it was Team Radley that would hold the lead place after taking 3 wins from 3 races with just the final to go. The Semi Final would see some superb close racing with side by side action between Team Radley and Scott Dunn which lasted for nearly 3 tantalising laps and ended with Scott Dunn and Natasha Bartlett crashing out on the pits bend. With Abi sidelined due to injury to her hands, Jon Cook would stand in as passenger for the final. A Race that would again produce some fantastic racing action between Scott Dunn, Team Radley and Wayne Read, the 3 top teams in the championship all desperate for points to pull out a lead at the top of the championship, but it would be Team Radley that would lead from start to finish and take the overall meeting victory.
